After he is transferred from juvenile detention to a maximum security prison, 18-year-old Mel Blight (Vincent Miller) meets two older inmates: the notoriously violent and dangerous Mark Shepard (Jarvis) and jaded Warren Murfett (Pearce), who is due to be released shortly.
