Khris Davis and Forest Whitaker star in this sporting drama directed and co-written by George Tillman Jr. about the life of George Foreman (Davis). After surviving a difficult and poverty-stricken childhood, Foreman meets Doc Broadus (Whitaker), who introduces him to boxing and becomes his trainer.
Following a gold medal win at the 1968 Olympics, Foreman battles his way to the World Heavyweight Championship, but a life-changing fight against Jimmy Young (David Jite) sees him leave boxing behind and begin a new life as a minister. However, after a decade away from boxing, financial pressures force him to return to the ring and he fights to reclaim his title and become the oldest man to ever win the heavyweight championship
