In ´Mr. Tiger´ Paul (Russell Lewis), a young, troubled boy befriends an imaginary tiger. In ´Penny Farthing´ an antique shop owner is transported back in time by a bicycle in his store.
In ´Mel´ Brian Thompson (Michael Jayston) brings home a dead tree, names it Mel and displays it as art, much to the dismay of his wife Bella (Joan Collins). In ´Luau´ literary agent Auriol Pageant (Kim Novak) arranges a luau to court a new client, but things don´t quite go according to plan
