Jeff Bridges star in this sci-fi action adventure written and directed by Steven Lisberger. Software engineer Kevin Flynn (Bridges) used to be employed by the ENCOM corporation but now runs a video game arcade. When he tries to hack into ENCOM´s systems to prove that the company´s executive vice president Ed Dillinger (David Warner) stole Flynn´s work for his own advancement, his efforts are thwarted by ENCOM´s Master Control Program.
Joining forces with his former co-workers Alan Bradley (Bruce Boxleitner) and Lora Baines (Cindy Morgan), Flynn breaks into ENCOM and hopes to use Bradley´s Tron program to defeat the Master Control Program. However, when he is transported inside the system by the MCP, he must fight to survive a series of deadly games while attempting to find his way back to the real world
