As they attempt to contact home, Commander Gordon Barrett (Messina) receives communication from the U.S government stating that the Russian military have launched a nuclear attack on American soil and that they are under strict instructions to secure the I.S.S. into American hands. Assuming their Russian co-workers have received a similar message, it quickly becomes apparent that it´s a fight for survival if any of them want to make it home alive
