Michael Venus directs this German thriller starring Sandra Hüller. Struggling with recurring nightmares of a place she has never been, Marlene (Hüller) endeavours to find out if the mysterious location is real. When she finds it, she becomes overwhelmed with emotion to a point of breakdown and is admitted to a psychiatric hospital.
As her daughter Mona (Gro Swantje Kohljof) follows in her footsteps to try to find out what happened, she discovers a small village with a very dark history. The cast also includes August Schmölzer, Marion Kracht and Agata Buzek
