When American socialite Catherine West (Baker) travels to Italy following the death of her millionaire husband, her lawyer Brian (Tino Carraro) sets her up in a lavish villa. When she meets Peter (Castel), an intriguing young man whose car has broken down, she invites him in to her home.
As the pair form a close bond, Peter introduces Catherine to his stepsister Eva (Colette Descombes) and the trio embark on a passionate affair. With a $200 million estate to her name however, are the siblings´ motives really sincere?
