The show follows Endeavour Morse (Shaun Evans) in his younger years as a police constable. Working alongside his senior partner Detective Chief Inspector Fred Thursday (Roger Allam) and DS Jim Strange (Sean Rigby), Morse engages in a number of investigations around Oxford, England.
In this series, set in 1972, Morse and the team investigate when two bodies are found with ties to the Oxford Concert Orchestra, a notable artist goes missing and a group of university students cause havoc in the city. Meanwhile, Morse is conflicted as Joan (Sara Vickers)´s wedding day approaches and Thursday´s actions are catching up with him, placing his family in danger. The episodes are: ´Prelude´, ´Uniform´ and ´Exeunt´.
