John Guillermin directs this drama starring Stewart Granger and George Sanders. Film producer Max Poulton (Granger) is having an affair with one of his actresses, Gina Bertini (Gianna Maria Canale), and Gina is threatening to tell everything to Max´s wife, Carol (Donna Reed). When Gina is found brutally murdered, however, suspicion quickly turns to Max when Scotland Yard´s Inspector Carliss (Sanders) places Max as his key suspect, but does Inspector Carliss have an agenda of his own?
