Marisa Abela stars as the late British musician Amy Winehouse in this biopic directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson. The film follows the star´s rise to success from an aspiring singer as an adolescent through to her troubled final years in her mid-twenties as she struggles with drug and alcohol addiction and a volatile relationship with her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil (Jack O´Connell). Despite battling her demons, Amy´s albums ´Back to Black´ and ´Rehab´ earn her numerous awards and catapult her into music stardom.

The cast also includes Eddie Marsan, Lesley Manville and Juliet Cowan
