Johnny Flynn stars as David Bowie in this British biopic set during the rock musician´s first US tour in 1971. At 24-years-old Bowie heads across the Atlantic to promote his third album, ´The Man Who Sold the World´, leaving behind his pregnant wife Angie (Jena Malone). Travelling across the country with his band and Mercury Records publicist Ron Oberman (Marc Maron), who believes in the singer-songwriter´s potential to become a star, Bowie is inspired to create his iconic Ziggy Stardust persona
