Sci-fi horror directed by Steve Sekely and starring Howard Keel, Nicole Maurey and Kieron Moore. Bill Masen (Keel) lies in his hospital bed, his eyes bandaged, listening to radio reports of a meteorite shower all over the world. The next day Masen finds he can see perfectly, but all witnesses to the previous night´s shower have been blinded.
The meteorites carried the spores of killer plants, the Triffids, who are now wandering the streets picking off their helpless victims
