All six episodes from the tenth series of the New Zealand crime drama. The story follows Detective Inspector Mike Shepherd (Neill Rea) after he leaves Auckland to investigate a murder in the fictional, rural town of Brokenwood. There he is assisted by Detective Constable Kristin Sims (Fern Sutherland), with whom he regularly clashes due to his unconventional crime-solving techniques.

In this series, the detectives investigate when a paleontologist is found dead following the discovery of dinosaur fossils in Brokenwood and when the mentor at a writing retreat is murdered.
