Disney animated adventure set in ancient Polynesia. When a fiery ocean demon threatens her peaceful island home, Moana (voice of Auli’i Cravalho) vows to save her people. Putting her navigation skills to the test, she sets out on a daring sea voyage to find the demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) who stole the heart of Te Fiti, the goddess of nature, many years ago.
If Moana is to fulfil her destiny, she and Maui must restore Te Fiti’s heart but as they traverse the ocean together, they encounter difficult conditions and dangerous creatures and soon, Moana discovers that Maui may not be the hero he proclaims himself to be. The voice cast also includes Jemaine Clement, Rachel House, Temuera Morrison and Nicole Scherzinger
