USA for Africa (United Support of Artists for Africa) oli vuonna 1985 perustettu hyväntekeväisyyshanke, jonka organisoivat Harry Belafonte, Ken Kragen sekä levytyksen keskeiset tekijät Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie ja Quincy Jones. Superkokoonpanon single “We Are the World” tehtiin keräämään varoja Afrikan nälänhädän helpottamiseksi, ja siitä tuli yksi 1980-luvun tunnetuimmista hyväntekeväisyyslevytyksistä. Projekti kokosi yhteen suuren joukon aikansa merkittävimpiä pop-, rock- ja soul-artisteja ja nousi symboliksi populaarimusiikin yhteiskunnallisesta vaikutusvoimasta.
