Michael Schenker Group oli saksalaisen kitaristin Michael Schenkerin ympärille rakentunut hard rock -yhtye, joka perustettiin hänen UFO-kauden jälkeen vuonna 1979. Yhtye nousi 1980-luvun alussa melodisen mutta virtuoosisen hard rockin kärkinimiin, ja Schenkerin kitaransoitosta tuli laajalti vaikutusvaltainen tyylilajin historiassa. One Night at Budokan dokumentoi yhtyeen vahvaa livekautta ja on yksi sen tunnetuimmista livejulkaisuista.
