Paul Ruth (Patrick McGoohan) works for a private military contractor which recruits scanners to fight back against a dangerous group of rogue scanners led by Darryl Revok (Ironside). After helping scanner Cameron Vale (Lack) to control his powers, Ruth asks him to infiltrate Revok´s group but during their ensuing confrontation, hidden secrets are revealed and Vale must decide who to trust.
