David ´Shark´ Fralick, Christopher Ogden and Isaac Hayes star in this black comedy horror directed by William Lustig. Master Sergeant Sam Harper (Fralick) is killed by friendly fire in Kuwait and when his corpse is discovered, it is shipped back to his family in America. Soon after his casket arrives home, Harper´s body is reanimated and as Independence Day celebrations begin, Harper embarks on a killing spree that sees him target anyone who does not conform to his twisted idea of the American Dream.
When Harper´s nephew Jody (Ogden) discovers that his uncle was far from the brave war hero he believed him to be, he joins forces with Sergeant Jed Crowley (Hayes) to end his reign of terror. The cast also includes Leslie Neale, Anne Tremko and Robert Forster
