A hot summer day like many others - but suddenly bloody horror begins. After the Saint Bernard Cujo is bitten by a bat while hunting, he becomes infected with rabies. Cujo’s master Joe Camber (Ed Lauter) receives his own workshop from his wife Charity (Kaiulani Lee), who has just won in the lottery, while Cujo increasingly falls into his illness. Vic Trenton (Daniel Hugh-Kelly) on the other side must learn that his wife Donna (Dee Wallace) is stranging. While on a business trip, she stays with her common son Tad (Danny Pintauro) with her wagon and the two make their way to Joe’s workshop. But they only find the body of Joe, killed by his own dog. When the rabid Cujo attacks the two, Donna and Tad flee back into their defective wagon and have to wait for help. A bloody struggle for survival begins. Based on a novel by Stephen King!
