William Ragsdale and Chris Sarandon star in this supernatural horror written and directed by Tom Holland. When 17-year-old horror fan Charley Brewster (Ragsdale) discovers that his next-door neighbour Jerry (Sarandon) is a vampire, he tries to raise the alarm but no one believes him. The only person willing to help is fictional vampire hunter and television host Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall).

As Jerry becomes increasingly dangerous and threatens Charley´s loved ones, can Charley and Peter find a way to defeat a real vampire? The cast also includes Amanda Bearse, Stephen Geoffreys and Jonathan Stark
