Animated fantasy adventure directed by Don Bluth. Widowed mouse Mrs Brisby (voice of Elizabeth Hartman) and her three children live in a breeze block on the Fitzgibbon farm but with harvest season approaching, they must relocate before the plough destroys their home. However, her youngest son is too sick to move and so Mrs Brisby seeks advice from the Great Owl (John Carradine), who sends her to Nicodemus (Derek Jacobi), the wise leader of a resourceful rat colony living on the farm.

Unfortunately, conflict amongst the rats could spell doom for Mrs Brisby. The voice cast also includes Dom DeLuise, Peter Strauss and Hermoine Baddeley
