Would-be boxer Bobby (Jon Favreau) dreams of settling down in domestic bliss with his stripper girlfriend (Famke Janssen). His sparring partner Ricky (Vince Vaughn) dreams of being a gun-toting, babe-attracting mafia hotshot. So when they’re offered a quick job for Los Angeles mob boss Max (Peter Falk), Bobby reluctantly agrees and Ricky jumps at the chance. Whisked away to New York City’s criminal underworld, Bobby is determined to do exactly what Max told them to do: behave himself and keep his mouth shut. Ricky has other ideas, ignoring mobster protocol and living the high life. But when the time comes for the boys to do their tough guy stuff, nothing goes as planned and soon they find themselves risking their lives as they stumble into the fast lane of organised crime...
