Michael Brandon stars in this giallo written and directed by Dario Argento. Musician Roberto Tobias (Brandon) is being followed and when he confronts his stalker and they struggle, Roberto accidentally stabs and seemingly kills the man. Days later he receives photographs of the incident and hires Gianni Arrosio (Jean-Pierre Marielle) to identify the person who is tormenting him.

As more people around him are killed, the only clue he has is a strange image he can´t make out. Can he identify the killer before they come for him? The cast also includes Mimsy Farmer, Francine Racette and Bud Spencer
