Joan Collins stars in this British horror co-written and directed by Jimmy Sangster. The film follows Peggy (Judy Geeson), a 22-year-old carer who is set to move to a remote boys’ boarding school with her husband for work. However, the night before they leave, Peggy is attacked by a mysterious man with a prosthetic hand and left emotionally scarred by the incident.

Despite making the move the next day, Peggy’s mental state deteriorates further as she continues to be tormented by her attacker and struggles to maintain a grip on reality
