American horror based on the novel by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero. Novelist Thad Beaumont (Timothy Hutton) makes a healthy living writing pulp thrillers under the pseudonym George Stark.

Frustrated that his more literary endeavours continue to go unnoticed he stages a mock funeral for his pseudonym. However, when his friends and colleagues are murdered and Thad´s fingerprints are connected to the crime scenes the novelist realises that his literary creations may have something to do with the horrific murders
