J.J. Abrams returns to direct this ninth instalment of the epic sci-fi film series starring Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac. A year after the events of ’Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ (2017) an evil force has reawakened, and the fractured Resistance unites to make a final stand in their battle with the First Order.
