Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas star in this swashbuckling adventure directed by Martin Campbell. Don Diego de la Vega (Hopkins) fights against Spanish oppression in Alta California as the masked swordsman Zorro whilst seeking revenge against corrupt governor Don Rafael Montero (Stuart Wilson), the man who killed his wife and kidnapped his daughter Elena (Catherine Zeta-Jones) years before. He joins forces with unruly bandit Alejandro Murrieta (Banderas) and begins training the young man, who has a score of his own to settle against Montero´s right-hand man Harrison Love (Matt Letscher).

As they work together to thwart Montero´s murderous schemes, will Alejandro prove himself worthy of taking on the mantle of Zorro?
