Richard Greene reprises his role as Robin Hood in this adventure directed by Terence Fisher. The Sheriff of Nottingham (Peter Cushing) and the Earl of Newark (Richard Pasco) are plotting to kill the Archbishop of Canterbury (Jack Gwillim) and seize the estate of the Lord of Bawtry, who died in the Crusades. When Robin learns of this, he joins forces with Maid Marian (Sarah Branch) to thwart their evil schemes.
