James Gunn writes and directs this action adventure sequel based on the DC Comics characters. Recruiting inmates from Belle Reve penitentiary, Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) forms Task Force X aka The Suicide Squad - a group of unlikely heroes comprised of imprisoned criminals including Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Bloodsport (Idris Elba), Peacemaker (John Cena), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Ratcatcher (Daniela Melchior) and Polka-Dot Man (David Dastmalchian).
