Gene Hackman stars in this neo-noir thriller directed by Arthur Penn. Los Angeles-based private investigator Harry Moseby (Hackman) is hired by ageing actress Arlene Iverson (Janet Ward) to find her missing 16-year-old daughter Delly (Melanie Griffith).
