Cate Blanchett stars in this supernatural thriller directed by Sam Raimi. Annie Wilson (Blanchett) is a clairvoyant who offers psychic readings to her neighbours to support her family. When Jessica King (Katie Holmes), who is engaged to the school principal, goes missing, Annie is haunted by visions of her fate.

Although the police are sceptical, they accept Annie´s help locating Jessica´s body and soon Annie is placed in danger as she attempts to identify the killer. The cast also includes Keanu Reeves, Giovanni Ribisi and Greg Kinnear
